10th - 11th September 2007 - Edinburgh
On the 10th and 11th September 2007, NHS Health Scotland, in collaboration with the Scottish Executive, will host an international conference called Towards a Smokefree Society: Science, Policy and Implementation at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.
The conference seeks to bring together practitioners, researchers, and policy makers around four aims: to share the latest evaluation findings on smokefree legislation from Europe and elsewhere; to review international policy developments and share implementation experience; to support countries to develop, implement, monitor and evaluate their own smokefree legislation; and to promote the development of smokefree legislation within the broader context of tobacco control policy frameworks.
